Bear in mind, the secret will never be anything major like a secret identity or if you're secretly evil- It will all be really mundane, but slightly embarassing, things. Think things like a person's true weight, what type of underwear they wear, their middle name, their secret love for Lady GaGa... Feel free to get creative! Headcanon is perfectly acceptable here.
