Yo.

So, I'm back from Ottawa/Quebec. Actually, I've been back for more than a week, but between playing D&D and doing chores for my 'rents and generally being incredibly lazy, I haven't updated. Anyway, Ottawa is a fascinating city, if only because it houses so many of this country's national intstitutions and official galleries. The Canadian Museum of Civilization is very good, if not quite up to the standards of the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto (but then, so few Canadian museums are better than the ROM). I'm absolutely in love with the National Gallery of Canada, despite only having enough time to make it through the current photography exhibit and a little bit of abstract stuff.

Canada Day was one big party. As much fun as it was to be there with my family, I'm definitely going to have to go back another year with my friends instead.

More recently, I finally got around to watching V for Vendetta the other day. I'll spare you my analysis of the movie. I'm wondering, was it just me, or did anyone else hear the line "What's a revolution without a little dancing?" and instantly think 'Dance Dance Revolution!'? It's everywhere, I tell you.

real life no really
