All travel accomplished safely, although the landing was rather abrupt for my taste. I slept maybe an hour on the coach to the airport, and a bit on the plane, but nothing really cumulative. So it's after 11pm in England, and I've been awake basically since 07.30 yesterday morning. Ouch. I will go climb in my fantabulous bed very soon!

So, a bit more elucidation on things from me. The portable hard drive was the only thing that occasioned airport security notice - both times, which is why I shifted it to the other carry-on for the UK leg as it was easier to get at in there.
