The advent of 2006
I kind of feel like I've already done NYE this year, since the show last night was billed as "New Year's Eve Eve," we had balloons, party hats and noisemakers, and I was up until a disgusting time this morning LOL. I could go out with Julie tonight, but she's going to be with a bunch of people I don't know and am not sure *she* should even be hanging with (long story) so I don't even really want to meet these guys, nor spend my night trying to suppress the urge to chaperone, you know? And it's way too fucking cold to go to the concert downtown, LOL - it's around -14°C with the windchill *now* and it'll only get colder, especially with how windy it always is downtown. There're any number of places I could go alone, including the same club I was at last night with a different band, but I'm not really in the mood. I had my party night; now I'm just going to snuggle in with the computer and the TV for the evening. I'll be on AIM and MSN if anyone feels like saying hi. And if I don't talk to you, have a lovely, lovely New Year's! I'm so glad to know all of you. :-)
