I got the damn CD! Woohoo! Actually, as soon as the guy at the counter said they just got them back in today and it was a Sony release, I figured out why I couldn't find it: it was one of the ones that had been put out with that ridiculous embedding code that everyone else had subsequently decided to treat as spyware (b/c it bloody well was). Sony must have pulled everything and re-issued. All the same, I don't think I'll be borrowing it to rip, lol. Although I hadn't exactly been planning to anyway!
Speaking of getting CDs, I got my first mix from the Great Mix Trade at audiography! Oh em gee I am SO EXCITED!! I haven't listened to it yet but the tracklisting is cool. I know almost nothing on it song-wise LOL but I know several of the artists from other stuff and there's some totally unknown things too. And some in French! Very cool indeed, especially coming from the US and not within Canada. Haha I feel like such a dork b/c when I saw the package I actually clapped my hands. Hee.
I'm also really, really loving the whole King Konqueror CD. I hope that some of y'all snagged the mp3s a couple posts back and are enjoying them. :)
