Happy September! (OMG, where the hell is the year disappearing to???) I am back in the UK safe and sound, if still tired. And on Friday, I had an appointment to get a tattoo!
I've had the bones of the idea rattling round for a couple of years now, and it came together when I saw a T-shirt design that had snowflakes dripping off the crescent moon instead of stars. The gothic-style clock hands point to three o'clock, and the moon indicates that this is in the wee hours of the AM, not the afternoon. Most of y'all will be aware that I have a fondness for that hour (and it's also a great Matchbox Twenty song! *g*).
The colours are deepening and brightening some as the tattoo 'cures' and settles in - this was taken right after the first washing. But I love that it's all in blues and purple, no black ink at all. Also, as a happy scheduling accident, I got it done on the day of the blue moon. How fun is that?
