It'll be sand in a few thousand years

The office I'm in right now is in a little gentrified industrial park, aka it's all prettied buildings and landscaping but still houses your standard industrial stuff, plus there's a refinery. Anyway, the street it's on is not very long; one end is at the main road where I get the bus, and the other end is at the water. There's a boat slip and a shells-and-rocks beach, and on a gorgeous sunny day, it made a very nice place to eat lunch.

(The street, btw, is called Ensign Way. I get a mental image of Gerard in a TNG-era yellow Starfleet uniform every time I see the street sign, and giggle to myself. :D)

View off to the left of the boat slip - the slip itself is kinda slimy, so did not want a photo, and there were other people eating lunch to the right so I didn't think they'd appreciate being photographed.

Macro mode on the beach rocks.

Mah ankle, not that you can tell for the macro + blur. Postin' it anyway. :P

Pee Ess reading out of the corner of one's eye FTL: ad on Photobucket for thinkproperty.com that actually says, "Looking to buy or rent? Got kids?" all in childish handwritten capitals. What I saw? "Looking to buy or rent kids?" Epic fail, LOL.
