First,
loves2bang found some cool old Green Day stuff on youtube:
Finnish interview circa 1995 and
Walking Contradiction + Going to Pasalacqua + destruction circa 1996 - that's the fastest I've ever heard GtP played, lol. Billie Joe looks some pissed off.
Next, a verra looong meme snagged from a whole bunch o' people.
1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Mortgage. Though only because it's the biggest chunk; I kind of like that it's for property.
2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
Haha. Um. I can't even remember. For reals. Oh, how sad.
3. Do you regret losing your virginity to who you lost it to?
Not at all. It was a wonderful experience.
4. If you could go back and change one thing what would it be?
Bleurgh, I despise this question. Nothing. I would change nothing. The choices I made stemmed from the person I was at the time and I believe that they and their consequences were necessary. What's done is done, and I don't care to undo.
5. Name of your first grade teacher?
Mrs. Rath.
6. What do you really want to be doing right now?
Sleeping? It IS 3 a.m.. Actually I'd like to be writing, but I can't focus tonight.
7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?
A psychiatrist.
8. How many colleges did you attend?
I attended two universities: Queens and UToronto. No colleges, you American question.
9. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
It goes with my pyjama bottoms.
10. What are your thoughts on gas prices?
Stop the insanity!
11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you where would it be?
England or San Francisco, duh. But there isn't anyone here in Halifax that I'd want to take.
12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
Saturday so no alarm. First thought upon waking: do I have the house to myself yet?
13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
Hmm. I was so tired, I don't think I was capable of thought by the time I actually got to bed.
14. Favorite style of underwear?
French cut/high-cut.
15. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer?
If I didn't have to work, I'd still work. Probably part-time or something, but I'd still work. And maybe volunteer on the side, too, yeah.
18. Get up early or sleep In?
*points to icon* Does that answer the question?
19. What is your favorite cartoon character?
The Last Unicorn.
20. Favorite thing to do with the opposite sex?
This sounds like it should be a dirty question, man. But I'm going to say just hang out and talk.
21. Have you found real love yet?
Found and lost more than once.
22. When did you first start feeling old?
No idea. It sort of comes and goes. Sticking around pretty good right now (see question 50).
23. Favorite 80's movie.
Stand By Me, which is also my favourite movie, period. *really should buy the DVD sometime*
24. Your favorite lunch meat?
Cheese. I mean... lol. I try not to eat lunch meat; I make sandwiches with real meat whenever possible. So chicken breasts, I suppose.
25. What do you get every time you go into Costco/Walmart?
I don't have a Costco membership and I very rarely go to WalMart. When I do, it's usually to buy Kleenexes because it's the only place that sells the right multipacks.
26. Beach or lake?
Beach. But because I like waves, not so much sand. ;D
27. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
No. I believe that it still has value at both the individual and societal level. I do think, though, that some of the rituals and ideas surrounding marriage have become outdated.

Co-own a house. Used to own a car.
29. Favorite guilty pleasures.
I don't really feel guilty about any of my pleasures.
30. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out about?
I can't think of any, at least not that I still watch. Back in the day I used to adore Zapped, which was one of those 'science experiments gone awry' plots where Scott Baio suddenly got uncontrollable telekinesis and clothes were flying everywhere. *giggles* I remember the teacher who had a lovely garter belt under her floral peasant skirt, and that the mousy librarian girl science partner was named Bernadette and there was indeed a kiss and a happy ending.
31. What's your drink?
Rye and Pepsi over ice, or Chardonnay. There are others but those are my standards.
32. Cowboys or Indians?
Do the cowboys look like the Young Guns? Because then I totally pick cowboys. [<--I agree with this answer!]

Neither. Cops make me nervous and robbers break the rules too much.
34. Who from high school would you like to run in to?
Jeez. Either Wild B or Sharron.
35. What radio station is your car radio tuned to right now?
Q104.3 classic rock. Since that's about all there is with "rock" even in the description.
37. 'The Cosby Show' or 'The Simpsons'?
Neither.
38. Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back?
Fixating on getting married.
39. Do you like the person who sits directly across from you at work?
Person whose back faces mine in the same aisle, yes, very much. Person who technically sits face-to-face with me on the other side of the cubby wall is okay, but I don't know her that well.
40. What famous person would you like to have dinner with?
I hate this damn question and somebody always asks it. There are famous people I'd like to have drinks with and famous people I'd like to shag, but nobody I really want to sit down and eat dinner with. I will say Rob Thomas, though, because there was a radio contest once with that as a prize and ever since, I occasionally have these random dinner conversations with him in my head because at the time I was like, "WTF would I say???"
41. Indoors or Outdoors?
Indoors.
42. Have you ever crashed your vehicle?
Had you asked me this last month... Yes, I have. *eyeroll*
43. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its actual purpose?
No. I have set one off, but it was as part of a safety exercise.
44. Last book you read for real?
Creation in Death by J.D. Robb.
46. Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?
I don't know that at a water pump whilst camping in a provincial park qualifies as particularly strange, but there you go.
47. Somewhere in California you've never been and would like to go?
Napa Valley. I've seen a teeny bit from the car, but didn't have enough time to go to any wineries.
48. Do you go to church?
Only if someone's getting married or has died.
49. At this point in your life, would you start a new career?
Yes. In fact, I actively want to do that.

Thirty-four, for another seven weeks. Eep!
