Home sweet home
We're having a "wintry mix" storm (mockingbird39, I hate that term as much as you do!), which basically means there's snow, and freezing rain, and sleet, and ice pellets. It is a giant slippery, gross MESS. It was also dead at work today so when they offered VTO I signed up. I'll lose a chunk of my day's pay, but I'm home safe. I'm still driving a rental car for a couple more days, and frankly, I'm still white-knuckling it a bit when the weather isn't good, so this was worth it.
