I wish south were north, and over were to, and colours were wiped bare and touchable. I wish I could stand out in the rain until I couldn't tell where it stopped and I began; until I dissolved into the slow drip of mist and puddled on the pavement. I wish I understood how feeling fat and feeling small could co-exist. I wish hot chocolate really were "a warm hug on a cold day," and that it came from someone I loved.
