(no subject)
quick update, as quick as 2 weeks worth of life can be.
friday the 15th i got a phone call from johnny saying he's going to be back in the states (he lives in germany still) at the end of july/beginning of august! unsure of an exact date yet, but i'm really excited cause it's been nearly 3 years since i last saw him. he's flying in to new jersey, where his friend calin lives, then making his way to baltimore, then florida to see his family, then back up again. we are definitely having a party!
saturday the 16th, brittany and kirk's wedding. the ceremony was small and personal at parkville baptist church, then the reception was at kirk's sister's house in her nice big back yard. everything ran a little late (no surprise haha) but it was really nice, very low key, and very personalized. like if you know brittany and kirk you would think that's exactly what they would pick, the songs especially. the rain held out until the very end, and i had to go anyway cause my allergies were kicking my ass.
wednesday went to my dad's house and attempted to make hash with him and uncle rick and one of their friends. don't get high before trying to make hash lol. i think we need to know some more specific info next time, we were working from an instructional dvd that left out some potentially important info.
thursday richie got mike to color in his clown fish tattoos, finally. look so much better now, it was just an outline for entirely too long.
this past weekend richie went to ocean city with his sisters and some friends. i stayed very busy as well. saturday was amy's birthday party to celebrate her 21st and 30-40 of us took a party bus to power plant. i didn't think something like that would really be up my alley but i ended up having a great time. didn't realize how strict their dress code is (for guys only, they could give a shit less what girls wear), which almost ruined it for some people. tim was buying us jager bombs all night so i was pretty wired still when i woke up the next morning, but still good to go for work.
sunday night rick and holly came over and we played "buzz quiz game" and rick made up lots of funny names cause when you win it puts your name really big and lit up on the podium you're standing on. later on heather and mike came over too. ended up staying up til 2am that night too, made it a bit easier to sleep without richie being there. i always have trouble sleeping if he's not with me.
today rachel came over and dyed my hair for me. i've been so busy at work lately i've had zero time to do it, so she volunteered. i had been trying to fade the red for a while so i could do it a different color next, not really knowing what. we did a bunch of different shades of purples and pinks. it's still sitting in my hair but i can tell it's gonna look real sweet :)
