talked to my friend brittany from high school this morning. haven't seen her since hs and ran into her like a week or so ago. seems like she's doing really well, she has her head in a good place unlike most people from hs. she's married and has a baby now. right after hs she got involved with some really low people and did some drugs she shouldn't be doing, but got out before things got too bad. meeting her husband and then eventually having her baby really saved her, made her realize that life's too important to fuck up the way other people around us have. it was really great talking to her because we used to be really close in high school, i love this girl. its just really good to feel like not everyone i knew is a fuck up, and she's still the same person, only better. we had so much fun together doing silly shit in high school. we started remembering all the funny stuff we thought up and we couldn't stop laughing. *sigh* to go back to a time when everything was more simple.

bill and i wanted to go to the walter's art museum before they take away the egypt exhibit, so we *tried* to go there today. however, bill thought he knew where we were going, and we ended up at not the walters but the baltimore museum of art. whoops wrong museum! but it was free to go there today for some reason so we just went there instead. we'll go to the walters either tomorrow or friday. bma could have been a lot better though. a lot of the stuff was really cool but had basically no description to it at all. i like it so much more when they tell the story behind it or at least a little of the history.
