don't you just hate it when you do the "right" thing, and as a result, something bad happens? yesterday, richie, eric, and i were going to chili's. richie was driving my car, and we come to a yellow light about to turn red. it was one of those situations where you can either gun it and just barely make it, or you can stop. richie chose to stop. the motocycle behind us didn't. the guy driving the motorcycle swerved to the left, and his front tire hit the side of my car, the area next to the light, his handlebars scraped across the top of the trunk. we barely even knew what was happening. when we heard them hit, then turned around it looked like no one was there, the motorcycle fell to the ground. his passenger, a girl, was crying, and he carried her to the side of the road. turns out she was just shaken up, but she really scared us because she said her leg hurt really bad. by the time paramedics arrived she realized she just had scrapes and bruising, and didn't need any medical help. the police helped us gather information about each other and sent us on our way. luckily since he missed breaking the light, my car doesn't need to be fixed right away. i'll be able to wait for the insurance company to tell me what to do, and they'll send me a check for the damage since it was the other guy's fault. this is the first accident i've had with this car. i guess it's one of those things that's bound to happen at some point. a headache, but it could have definitely been a lot worse.

crap!, car
