6 flags

heather, shanna, amy, and i went to 6 flags in new jersey on monday for heather and shanna's birthday (which was saturday). we wanted to go to that one because they have a freaking safari! it was so cool, there's all these wild animals just roaming around, getting in your way and whatnot. you have to stay in your car with your windows closed but of course there were dumbasses opening the windows feeding the giraffes! the coolest part of that was in the car next to us there was a little boy, probably around 2 or 3, holding a french fry up to the window and the giraffe was licking the window to try to get to it, and the kid was cracking up so hard it was adorable. and then he saw we were all laughing too and he laughed even harder. they also have elk, llamas, camels, deer, rhinos, ostriches, zebras, wildebeest, emus, kangaroos, antelope, and various other birds just walking around, and they have elephants, lions, bears, tigers, and baboons in caged in areas where they can't kill you but you can see them very closely. that was great fun!

it was over 90 degrees that day, and we planned on getting on water rides soon after getting there, but they didn't have them located near the beginning, and we kept getting distracted by all the rollercoasters. after feeling like i was about to die from the heat, we saught after something with water, and got on the log flume. i didn't really get that wet but i felt better than before. then we went to get on the next rollercoaster, medusa, and while standing in line i started to feel lightheaded, then i dropped to the ground and passed out. i always know when it's about to happen, because it's happened quite a few times before, and heather knows too, so she was able to catch me before i busted my head open on a pole or something. heather said my eyes rolled back in my head and i looked like a zombie. i don't remember it, i never do. everyone was all worried and gave me water to cool me down, but i knew i'd be ok, so i just drank a bunch of water and went on with the day after that. i didn't get to go on that rollercoaster though :( next, everyone decided we have to get on something that really gets you wet, so we went on the congo rapids, which is the one where you're all in a circular raft, and you go over bumps and the water splashes into your boat, then they shoot you with a big jet of water. that made life much better for me. the best rollercoaster we all agreed was nitro. it doesn't bang your head up, and it's just really a lot of fun. the thing that holds you down is in your lap, and there are parts where your body kinda lifts up a little as you go over hills. by the end of the day i was absolutely exhausted. we left when they closed at 10pm. i need to go to hershey park or king's dominion next, i don't know which one to choose first!
