ugg my (2 year old!) tv is pissing me off. i've already taken it to be fixed and paid $40 just to have them look at it, and tell me they can't find anything wrong with it. but when i bring it home it turns itself off randomly and won't come back on til i let it sit for a while. they said they'd look at it again for free but i would have to actually get it over there again, and it's not exactly convenient cause it doesn't fit in my car. so right now we've got a bunch of tvs just sitting around and we had been using a 25 year old tv up until today, my dad just gave me his!
my dad knew we had been having problems with the tv so he said he'd give me the one that's been in his room, it's fucking huge and really heavy. he wants a smaller one and the weight of that tv is so ridiculous that i can see why he'd want to be rid of it. the damn thing weighs 240 pounds. it took a lot for richie and nick to even lift the thing, carry it down the stairs and out the door to my dad's suv. so it's staying in our living room probably forever. so thats pretty awesome and i don't really have to worry about the other one so much now.
so whatever happened with nick and will moving out fell through and he's still moving but he's not sure when since they're looking for another place now. it's nothing really personal against him or anything but we all kinda got it in our heads that we'd have this other room to do stuff with really soon so now we can't wait to be able to do those things. this house just feels so crammed sometimes. it will be nice to eventually have another room other than the living room to hang out.
