xmas, new years, burning bush, nintendo
just got back from getting our new wii :) jeff is awesome for holding one for us. at annapolis mall, which is quite far, but he helped us get it nonetheless. haven't really tried it too much yet cause we're making dinner first, but i know it will be much fun in times to come.
so much has happened lately. nick has decided to move out of here and get a place with will. it will be very closeby. so that's happening in like a week. we have plenty of plans for what we'd like to do with his old room. we're going to make it a video game room basically. i can put another couch up there, and all the video game systems, a tv, possibly the other computer if it all fits well. wanna paint some chalkboard paint on one of the walls, and just basically go crazy with the decoration.
friday night we (well really my next door neighbor jeff) got drunk and decided to burn the dead ugly bush that's between mine and jeff's yard. so we hosed it down in lighter fluid and brandy, threw random newspapers and apparently jeff's (not the next door neighbor, the other neighbor, the one who saved us a wii) underwear that he accidently ripped into the flames. brought out some hairspray too and made a torch. added a part of jeff's car (his car is fucked, someone stole it and took most of the good parts), and i recorded the whole thing on my video camera. i'm really surprised no one in the neighborhood called the cops, but a good bit of them were out there witnessing the whole thing. richie grabbed an ugly snowman decoration from #6 (the neighbors we hate) and put it in the flames, then we put it back where we found it. they took down their xmas decorations the next day but i guess they didn't put 2 and 2 together that their snowman was torched, and there was a big black stump in our front yard where the bush used to be. the bush is completely gone, and we managed to not burn down our houses in the process. the next day i couldn't even work because i was so hung over i was puking. not good.
new years day richie and i went to ocean city for 2 1/2 days. on the way there we were listening to music really loud but started noticing another loud noise. it was my tire and it was very flat. we pulled into the nearest parking lot, which happened to be home depot/walmart. and the walmart happened to have a car repair section. so we weren't fucked, and they were able to give me a new tire for $100, yay! once we got to oc we did our usual drunk and jacuzzi thing at the carousel, and that was awesome. next thing we know, we're sleeping, it's 3am, and we're awoken by a REALLY loud sound. it's a computer voice saying "EMERGENCY, EVACUATE THE BUILDING!" over and over again, with air raid sirens. so it scares the shit out of us. at 3am you have no idea how to process something like that. so we had to go downstairs and sit in the lobby while the fire department checked out everything to find there was no fire and we weren't really given any reason, but it definitely sucked. the whole time we were there we basically just ate junk food to get that urge out, so we could eat only good food once we got home. it definitely worked, i ate too much crap it made my stomach hurt. played at the arcade as usual, since thats like the only thing open there this time of year.
new years eve we basically did nothing cause i didn't feel like dealing with an assload of people, and nick, heather, and all nick's friends were going to fletchers and sonar, and i know those places would be packed. played my new "deal or no deal" game, which inspired me to watch parts of "bobby's world" on youtube and laugh at howie mandel's curly mullet.
xmas and xmas eve i was very sick, i felt like hell, but i still went to see my family and all. had a huge altercation at my house beforehand which really sucked. but i guess its all good now and its for the better. had to work like crazy but i made a lot of money so i guess it makes it worth it. my dad got me a nintendo ds so i have something to play while its boring at work, it makes me very happy.
so now i just have a shitload of new video games to play and it's going to take a while to get bored of all that. everyone should come over and play fun new games with us :)
