My sister always told me friendships are a two-way street. If you want to keep that friendship alive, you can't wait for them to approach you, you have to take the initiative to approach them too. Well on friday, I rekindled on of my friendships from back in high school. We lost touch after about a year after high school because of busy schedules. It was good to have a friend back that I've had a connection with for such a long time. I moved quiet a fare amount back when I was young. One preschool and one primary school back in Singapore, three elementary schools in the states, one middle school, and two high schools. With all those moves, I never got a "best friend" to grow up with whom would know every detail of me. I stopped believing in the concept of a best friend after second grade. But I always had the desire to have one. Rumours says you find your best friends in university and college and I intend to make some long lasting relationships.
On another note, I also bought two French book to aid my progress. Painless French the BARRON'S series and the Easy French Reader. I'm excited to dig into them. Hopefully these will really help!
Good luck!
