last minute? me?

I started going through garb for Panteria next weekend, because I knew some of it wanted mending. I could actually only find one smock that needed fixing (I'd practically ripped the gusset out, because the seam allowances were too small), and the rest is actually all set, if wrinkly. But then I started looking at darkwolfie's cloak, and realized that I'd never finished the Cloak Project. It's half-sewn on now, and I expect to finish it tomorrow night. The annoying part is that I have to put it on my lap on top of the lid to a plastic bin, because the bit I have to sew is so far in from the edge of the tunic. I use the plastic lid as a skid surface. The stitches aren't what I wish they were, and it's a bit puckery in spots, but it'll be on, and he'll be able to wear it.

With any luck, I'll have the time to put together the wool tunic I've had cut out for a year, as well. I have wool garb, but my beloved has none, and this is Panther Vale in May -- he'll want it.

Now I just have to figure out what we're taking for bedding, since various feline emissions (from both ends) have whittled down my stock of bedding and necessitated the use of camping bedding in our bedroom. I think I'll be taking the gold-colored sheets, the blue "mink" blanket, the blue cotton blanket, and the down duvet I got at IKEA -- must remember to wash the duvet cover. I also need to stop by EMS at the mall and get a compression sack for the duvet. It'll squash down quite small, but won't stay that way without help. Push comes to shove, maybe the sack for my sleeping bag will work.

Lots to do, lots to do. *grin*
