Well that was interesting. I spent all day prepping for a class only to find out that they decided to give it to a full-time person. What a waste of my energy. I showed up and the guy told me to "take a seat" we almost had words... instead I congratulated him and wished him the best of luck. Oh well out a couple thousand dollars but more time with my family-- Sigh, needless to say I will no longer be working at Merritt College, burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me-- DONE WITH MERRITT PERIOD. Ironically, one of my dearest professional relationships came out of the Merritt F$&k ups over the years -- so I take my friendship and I leave the bother of a sloppy and inconsiderate administration. Now, for completing my dissertation. I emailed my chair and I hope to get so good work done over the next few weeks.
