Looks like, in addition to rebooting the video games to be more badass and less T&A, the Tomb Raider movie franchise is getting an overhaul as well. In the words of the writers, "we aim to write an origin story for Lara Croft that solidifies her place alongside Ellen Ripley and Sarah Connor in the pantheon of great female action heroes." Ooh. We'll see if they deliver.

Comics artist Francesco Francavilla has done a couple of sketches as tribute to Doctor Who episodes The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon. I'd be lying if I said the latter didn't get bonus points for including the LM. :P
