At long, long last, as of last night this morning I am fully caught up on Doctor Who.

Not much to say, except ( reaction to 5x12 - 5x13 behind the cut )

tv: doctor who, games: world of warcraft

I never really got into previous seasons of Doctor Who, but, given that the few episodes of earlier seasons I've liked were Moffat's, I'm thinking the writing is a large part of why I'm liking this season so much. It's had it's weak points but, frankly, even those episodes had some terrific moments in them.

Woe! :(

Wow! wowarmory is so totally cool! :D I've been unimaginatively naming my alts after Roman goddesses (save my main, Angeronalia, which is named after the festival of the Roman goddess Angerona, though I'm probably going to change hers) and, looking at wowarmory, it's really interested to see which goddesses are the most commonly used. 51 Indivia (the Roman goddess of jealousy)? And some people made her a paladin?

I'm actually a member of wow_ladies and I've been reading pretty much everything on it, but I haven't posted yet. They seem nice, but I'm a little worried about a chorus of "LTP n00b".

I've read a lot about rogues online, but I haven't seen that site before. I'll have a look.

Yeah, I think until I get Killing Spree and have some kind of AOE beyond Blade Fury I'll probably always rank below the casters/hunters/etc. For now I'm okay with that, but I really want to improve, so we'll see.

Haha, I totally use goddess names, too! Covntina is a bastardization of Coventina, which was her original name before I server transferred her. I also have a shadow priest named Lakini and had a hunter named Badb, too (people ALWAYS thought it was short for bad bitch until I explained it was a goddess name, lol). Goddess names are always taken! And forget getting anything fandom related. I actually lucked out on one of my original servers and snagged the name Inara for my death knight, but I never play there anymore. :(

People never do ltp noob on W_L! Well, okay, they might if you were a veteran player who is just dumb, but you're new to the game and have legitimate questions. I was really nervous about posting there at first, too, but when I was having guild drama I got some really good advice and that's how I found my current guild.

I know absolutely nothing about rogues, even though I have a level 71 rogue - but she doesn't count, because I recruit-a-friended her with another character and she was basically on follow the entire time.

Also, I just noticed a rogue posted a HALP post like... 5 minutes ago on W_L, so you should keep an eye on it - looks like she's also combat spec (but level 74) and is seeking DPS help! http://community.livejournal.com/wow_ladies/13550399.html
