The username problem again. Argh.

I swear, when I finally do find a name I like I'm sticking with it forever. As in, until the end of time.

aurelibot has been scratched for now, on account of its pronunciation issues, but that's left me with a Dreamwidth account invite (thanks lasergirl! ♥ ♥) and no... well, username I like.

Following malnpudl's (brilliant) suggestion, I brainstormed ideas that connected with me and, surprisingly, had a couple of hits. The unfortunate punch line? I can't seen to force any of these abstract concepts into a username that works. Argh.

And so, f-list, like a schmuck I turn to you: Can you make anything short, snappy, or at least reasonably coherent out of this? I'm going to keep trying, but at this point any feedback I'd happily take.

I like bestiaries and almanacs and curiosity cabinets. I love the way P.T. Barnum's American Museum and others like it blend fact and fiction, the mundane and the supremely weird. I love rat kings and the Feejee Mermaid and the gargoyles on Notre-Dame de Paris. I have a serious soft spot for cryptozoology too, but that's neither here nor there.

And... yeah. If only "bestiarum_vocabulum" was short (also: not Latin. What is it with me and Latin?) and "curiosity_cabinet" rolled off the tongue...

state of the me address, i need a monsters tag
