Current weather in Bangor: 7 F; -8 F with wind chill. No joke, people. And it's only December! (January/February are typically our coldest months).

Conditions tonight in Bangor for viewing the lunar eclipse are perfect. So much so that I just spent the last 20 minutes standing on my front steps watching the final sliver of the moon disappear behind a red-orange veil of shadow.

Eerie, but brilliant.
