I'm probably the only person in existence with Clark/Lori bunnies, aside from maybe Silver Age fanboys, lol. I haven't even read the issues from modern comics with Lori in them--I've only read about Lori in the Silver Age so far. I don't know, there are a lot of reasons why I like Clark/Lori ... partly because it's so obscure, and partly because it's fun to think of

You know, I never thought about it like that, but you're totally right! There's something about Clark romances that always seem so 'fated' and 'meant to be' that... eh. Lori Lemaris is sweet and adorable...I should post some Golden Age scans for Christine! There's actually a great *deathfic* Elseworlds issue where Clark marries Lois, Lana, and Lori in turn, and they all die horrible tragic deaths. Wow, it was actually pretty damn intense for a Golden Age comic. But Lori is adorable, hanging out in her tank and being all charming and loving...before dying a random, senseless death...

Oo! I would love to see some Golden Age scans with Lori Lemaris! I've read very few comics involving her, so any more fodder for my weird, under-nourished Clori bunnies would be fantastic. :) And that Elseworlds sounds especially intriguing, although ... yes, very very intense. My S/B side can only conclude that it's DC's way of sending a strong message that Clark should not marry women or else they're doomed. *grin*
