so, a few months ago I finally learnt how to knit properly. and even though I still haven't mastered cables (which sucks, since I need them for the scarf with the DNA helix pattern) I fell in love with openwork.

because I am really, really close to start developing a crochet pattern for carebears. *headdesk* yes, stuffed, cuddly carebears.... *is scared now*

so, the bunnies have been multiplying over christmas. yet again. unfortunately the ones that need to be written are refusing to cooperate. *headdesk*

but... I crocheted some more. I didn't really like the shape of the ears in the original pattern, so I fiddled around with it a bit :)

finally back home. *shudders* there were christmas shoppers everywhere! so, I finally finished the dragon (or at least making and assembling the parts) and am mostly satisfied with the result. at least it isn't looking like a crippled seahorse anymore.

( cut to the purple dragon (which I seem to have named 'Puff' for some reason or other *coughs* )

my favourite crocheting needle just broke. ok, just the handle but still. a roughly index-finger long stump makes crocheting rather.. fiddly. and difficult. and annoying. and of course I have no other needle in the same size. not a single one. *sighs*
