Nothing this week.
Still To do - most of these will have to wait until I have far more free time to think it all through - and that time has come! I will have a lot more free time now.
1. Scan/Upload clippings and other articles - Nothing done this week. I have a new scanner, so that should make life a little easier
2. Make sites mobile friendly - no progress but as this is a major site restructure, I won't start this until I know what I need to do! It will require substantial free time to figure out what is required and learn how to code it.
3. Reduce the overall number of files - so I can let go of ONE of the web spaces and save some money in future. It's another major undertaking and will be a time consuming task. This must be a priority as money is going to get tight soon! I have at least a year's grace in which to work on this.
4. Sort out the eFiction archives - Nothing done this week but I may approach AO3 about taking them on once I have some free time to go through everything.
5. Update the TV/Movie lists to add new TV/movie appearances - This requires creating new pages, with graphics and links. Nothing done this week and I know I have fallen WAY behind on all the sites. I'll likely do a catch-up spree soon :)

Books/Fanfiction **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
FANFICTION: Still slowly reading The Old Guard Joe/Nicky stories. I am definitely not getting anywhere as so many new stories are being added daily!
BOOKS: Still not started on Surviving the Evacuation book 7 by Frank Tayell because I'm still too busy reading fanfic :)
TV SHOWS and MOVIES: **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
MOVIES: Only one movie watched this week
- Black Out: Marwan plays a very young looking Detective Youssef, who is a good cop trying to do things the right way while his 'boss/partner' is always causing issues. He was really interesting in the role as they try to take-down the lead character in this sort of black comedy. I was worried when he decided to go off on his own at the end of the movie to check out the bowling alley but he found the next lot of dead bodies AND the missing cocaine - good for his career :)
FANVIDS: Nothing this week - has anyone seen any good fanvids they'd like to share?

TV SHOWS: A lot of shows are coming back and my internet connection is not so great here! It's taking me ages to download anything and streaming can be problematic sometimes, but I'm persevering :)
9-1-1: Poor Chim, but Eddie is right and maybe Buck can only see his strong sister rather than the vulnerable person she has become with Post-partum depression. Loved that small scene with Buck and Eddie - I live for those moments. I had a horrible suspicion the two girls names had gotten mixed up. So sad. As for Athena, I think she has been so focused on Harry that she hadn't dealt with her own trauma from the events. That man may be dead but his presence lingers.
Chicago Med: Not a bad episode, though Nick still annoys me by his interference and, seemingly, always thinking the worst of people. I like Marcel mentoring the new resident (Maggie's daughter). I loved the scenes with the ex-cop-turned-doc saving that young boy. Such a stupid accident with kids playing with guns. I assume the gun belonged to a parent who hadn't secured it safely. In the next episode I felt sorry for the lady misdiagnosed with cancer 30 years earlier. She's had to live with that sword hanging over her head all those years. It seemed to be an episode about misdiagnoses.
Endeavour: still to watch
Fear the Walking Dead: This was an uncomfortable episode as Victor now seems irredeemable, especially in the last scene of the episode. Otherwise it was pretty good overall... just very dark. (2) This episode focused on Morgan, Grace and baby Mo. It was very creepy with all the radioactive fallout issues, and I am glad Grace worked through some of her PTSD. So glad they found all the extra food so they can stay in the sub indefinitely. Not so keen on the new 'brother' now after Morgan plot. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, the book, the movie, the... yeah.
Heroes: Not seen any episodes this week
La Brea: Well... I'm still not convinced I'm going to enjoy this show. The giant sloth was interesting but overall not enough to keep my attention.
New Amsterdam: I was right about the new medical director, Veronica. Felt sad for Max and Helen trying to leave behind a legacy before they move on. As Helen said, though, they have 5 weeks left to make a difference.
NCIS: Awwww.... that final scene had me quite tearful. I hope Gibbs stays in Alaska, buys that wreck of a boat and fixes it up, finds some land and a house by the lake shore and holds onto the peace he has found there :) Glad FBI Agent Parker gave him that chance... and is he going to become Gibbs replacement?
RuPaul's Drag Race UK: Have to admit I thought Veronica should have stayed but that's the way it goes. Her runway look was particularly bad though... a shapeless mess.
Squid Game: I'd heard a lot of hype about this Netflix series and 'A' recommended it so I gave it a go... and ended up binge watching all 9 episodes. It was nothing ground-breaking but still very well put together. It left a few ideas hanging for a second season, including the Police Detective sub-plot. Take note: the English DUB is awful so, unless you have a real aversion to subtitles, watch it in the original Korean with English subtitles.
The Good Doctor: Everyone seemed to get what they wanted in the end... except Shaun is not going to like seeing himself as the 'poster child' for the new management!
The Walking Dead: World Beyond: Slightly better episode this week but still feels like it's scene setting - putting the players into position. Although Huck (Jennifer) is starting to realize she has been lied to by her mother.
