I'm one part chair-dancing, one part flailing in panic, and various other parts emotionally eating a thing of raspberry yogurt because I'm all out of chocolate and I just got an email from prof P, director of graduate studies, informing me that I've been appointed as one of the department's teaching fellows next year. AAAAAAAAAAH! This means I'm totally responsible for designing and implementing two of my own courses within the general rubric of the department's global history core program. So much work! So much responsibility! So much writing lectures on topics I know nothing about like anything after the French Revolution! This is going to be a brutal shock to my system after bumming around France all year.

Mike Gillis take the wheel (speaking of which, he should also take a nap, but after his press conference today I am somewhat reassured that Canucks management isn't going to panic and ruin everything), I have so much shit to do this summer.

I've gotten a good start on that today by doing like, three millimetres away from absolutely freaking nothing, go me.
