As a general rule, I'm not opposed to Mondays, but I am opposed to this Monday. The Canucks got eliminated overnight, as I discovered when I woke myself up out of a dream where I was waiting for the game to end, and checked the top headlines in my Globe & Mail app at 6:15 this morning. Then I went back to sleep until nine, because really, what else can you do? Now I'm facing a week full of all kinds of daunting things that I have to get done or life is going to be awful, and I just want the Sedins to win a Stanley Cup in Vancouver, is that too much to ask?
Anyway:
Accomplishments last week:
• I transcribed all copies of the relevant Saint-Aubin charters and put them in my database
• I sent prof FM my revised book list
