(no subject)
I have now made it to Montreal, where I am sitting at my gate. My flight was supposed to take off half an hour ago, but it's delayed because of issues with weather/air traffic control in Boston. In another hour, we'll find out what the deal is. Hopefully that will involve getting to Boston tonight, because I'm not sure what I'll do otherwise. My aunt and uncle and cousins and sister live two hours away and are singing concerts tonight, so little hope for an impromptu visit there.
I see yawning vistas of credit-card debt opening up before me, and I'm seriously questioning why I thought it would be a good idea to fly back to Boston the day before Haskins, when I could have done it the day before the day before Haskins, or any number of days before that.
Definitely no plane yet, and it is currently 1:36 am in France. I think I'll put my luggage back on one of the nifty little Montreal wheelie carts and go to the bathroom and brush my teeth and wash my face.
Edit: The flight from Boston that I hope will be the plane for my flight is in the air, according to the Air Canada website, and should arrive in Montreal in about ten minutes. I'm feeling a little more hopeful. Fingers crossed!
