Well, I started the day by going for a run along the seawall in Saint-Malo, and now, some mad packing, three trains, two pastries, and a sandwich (and coffee in the Quartier Latin with a former student of Prof G's and another sandwich and a pot of yogurt) later, I'm back in Paris in preparation for my trip back to Boston tomorrow. I suppose I should start rearranging the stuff in my suitcases to get it ready for tomorrow, but the thought has little appeal at the moment. I suppose I should also figure out what the ticket requirements for the RER out to De Gaulle are, since I'm pretty sure my metro ticket isn't going to cut it.

Hmm. It's possible I'm tired! Maybe what I should actually do now is go to bed, the better to achieve the above in the morning. My flight isn't until around 1:30 tomorrow afternoon, so I probably don't need to leave my hotel until 9:30 or so.

Or wait, I think the metro planning is the key piece that will determine everything else. Fingers... so... heavy... typing words into google searchbar... such... effort...

Watch for my more comprehensive update later. I'm supposed to be in Montreal for quite a while tomorrow, and the probability of boredom is high.

Oh, and Marek made it safely from the Porte de Cligancourt side of the Metro line, where I last saw him from my position on the Porte d'Orléans side, back to Nancy. And we were both amused to see the giant Metro ads for the return of Lord of the Dance to Paris this fall. Riverdance revival!
