Last post for 2011 (and hello 2012)
All the cool kids are doing fic recaps/memes/summaries/things.

I'm doing a year in fandom review :-)
2011 was a good year for new fandoms, current fandoms and old. I discovered new fandoms: Dr Who (2nd chance), Being Human. While 2010's revisit of SG1 and discovery of SGA was truly wonderful, Dr Who in 2011 came pretty close. And at least I get new Who, whereas I knew when wathing SGA that there was an end :-(
I wrote fic. But no really multichaps - mostly short one shots. So not so good for concentration levels. :)
But I also starting reading in earnest again and have returned to my book devouring days. This has however had a negative impact on my fanfic reading (and writing alas).
I have met and made new online friends (waves) and discovered the joy of tumblr. McGarrett, Danno, Dean, Sam, Reylan, Eleven and Crichton kept my fannish boy love alive. I made and posted my first fanvids. I signed for up a Big Bang ... and dropped out :( but have a lot of good stuff to work on.
A good fandom year, oh yes. In RL, not so much.
2012... I am looking forward to finishing those multichaps, watching more boys and well, reading.
