The Tar Heels crushed Marquette.  Now they'll face Kentucky in the next round, which makes me a little bit nervous.  Sure, we beat them already in the season, but Kentucky just came off a HUGE win against Kentucky.

Well, that was an ugly game.  After finishing in 1st place in the ACC this year, I was really expecting UNC to win the conference tournament.  Hardly.  That was quite a blowout, losing to Duke by a score of 58-75.  Not even close.

Making it to the finals was still good, and I'm still expecting a really good seed for the NCAA tournament.

If its decision to start selling groceries wasn't enough of a sign that Walgreens is trying to shake up its image and reach a new audience, now comes news that the drugstore chain has begun selling its own private-label beer.

Tar Heels win!!!  Huge win over #8 Kentucky today.  A nail-biter, for sure.  It went down to the wire, but UNC won 75-73.  Talk about exciting.  It was a hell of a game!

Back in the day, I used to be a Cowboys fan.  Troy Aikman.  Michael Irvin.  Emmitt Smith.  Those guys were great.  I wish the Cowboys could still live up to being America's Team.  Watching them yesterday, I couldn't help but think about how far they've fallen.

It appears that former North Carolina coach Dean Smith, age 79, is suffering from memory loss.  His family issued a statement which described Smith's condition as a "progressive neurocognitive disorder that affects his memory."
