Didn't really accomplish much of anything today. Watched a little bit of the recent Fantastic Four film, played my Knights of the Old Republic II video game, which basically consisted of "fight, fight, hide, heal while I walk over and mess around on the 'net, fight, fight, hide, heal." And repeat. Again and again and again. I had it playing all day and I only got through maybe 3 rooms.
FX Plays Peekaboo with 'Shield,' 'Rescue Me' (source: Zap2It)
I don't watch either The Shield or Rescue Me just yet, but I find this news quite interesting. The way that TV is being distributed to viewers seems to be really changing and expanding right now. I mean, there are the shows you can find on iTunes after they've already aired and the episodes being streamed online as special previews. Now FX and DirecTV are offering these two shows days before they'll be shown on FX. For a price, of course. $2.99/episode. And you have to have the DirecTV Plus DVR. Which I don't. But still, interesting...
Looks promising for a fourth season of Deadwood. See here:
Fourth Season of Deadwood in Range at HBO (source: Zap2It)
Of course, this HBO-nonsubscriber is still waiting impatiently for season 2 to hit DVD. Now, if only HBO had been so generous to Carnivale.
Ooh, new Tim Burton/Johnny Depp film on the horizon? And it's...a musical? With Depp in the title role of Sweeney Todd? Totally unconfirmed and nothing the least bit final, but certainly interesting. And something I'd definitely check out.

Ok, off to watch some more of the Fantastic Four film I've rented before turning in. (Though I'm really more in the mood to watch Serenity...again. So we'll see who wins my attention for the evening.)
