Typing Test

Well, I had emailed the supervisor this morning, got an answer back around noon, but hadn't gotten to replying. She called just a few minutes ago, and we nailed down 3 pm Thursday afternoon over at the Dartmouth General for the test.

I'm actually a touch nervous, where it's been 3 months since I've done any medical transcription, and 6ish months since doing the QEII work, but I figure once I hear the words again, they should come to me fairly quickly. Wonder if they'll allow me to search Google, my trusty sidekick?? If so, I anticipate no problems, as I'm sure I'd recognize most of the trustworthy sites for information. I mean, I'm 3 years of experience ahead of where I was the first time I took this test. It's not new to me. The hardest part will be the operative report, as I've only done a few, and the tools are confusing sometimes.

I'd also mentioned on the phone that I wouldn't push this hard if not for the rent increase, but she assured me I was acting within my rights, so apparently I haven't pushed too hard.

Oi, Thursday's looking busy, but that's why I booked it for then instead of Friday, which was an option, because I'd rather get stuff over with all at once, then recover. No idea if I'm even going to have work then. Speaking of, I should get back, since I have a file here at home to work on, which should keep me going until around noon tomorrow.

48 hours until the test!
