Yeah, come home early from work to find a FedEx notice... checked the tracking #, came from Ottawa. My guess is that Accentus has sent me some hardware, even though I *still* have not sent them the signed contract. I've been hoping to get clear indication from the hospital that I'm getting the job, then I would tell Accentus I'm not accepting their offer. I'm simply not comfortable with all the requirements of being an independent contractor at this point. I know from past experience that my financial discipline isn't NEARLY enough to handle covering my own taxes and such at this point. Maybe in a few years, but not now.
Is it just me, or are they being pushy? Seems odd to risk hardware without having a contract in hand. I assume it's the footpedal and disks for required programs.
