I found these a while ago and I think they are so intriguing and yet creepy! They are a collaboration between David Lynch and Christian Louboutin called Fetish. I think it's from a few months ago but wow!

The second picture reminds me of how when I was a kid and were in a pool with my friends we used to stand on our toes and walk around the pool like that. Then I did ballet and doing it for real was a lot more painful and less fun.
I've been trying to find some information on the
Splendour in the Grass forum but grr! It's just all fighting over the "real" music fans and who's just going to there to get wasted and find out where "the magical brownie lady" is selling her magical brownies. It also really annoys me that people go on the forum specifically to complain about the line-up, the other people going, who's wearing what, everyone's music taste, etc. I actually want to find out information! It's very annoying.
Can I mention again how much I love sales time? Today I bought a great pair of Sportsgirl jeans for $30 (down from $100!). They are very 60's, Woodstock flares but they need to be taken up because at the moment I look a bit like a garden knome. Curse my stumpy legs! I also bought some more Napoleon Perdis stuff (foundation, to be exact) and a Cotton On singlet for $3.35. I only bought it because I was wearing one of my new tops, and it was not only FREEZING because it was made out of that sheer material that chain shops seem to favour, but also a tad too low-cut for my tastes. After about half an hour of walking around the city with my arms crossed over my chest I gave up and went back to the dark side (WHY does the dark side sell such ridiculously low-priced singlets?).
Oh and also I bought the book
Sex and the City: The Movie. Oh. My. God. It is a MAJOR orgasm of a book. Photos of ALL the outfits Carrie wore in the movie? Two whole pages about her Vivienne Westwood wedding dress? Gorgeous pictures of Carrie and Big? Yes please! There is a really cute bit which I shall type out for you because I love you:
Michael Patrick King: 'The very first time we were shooting the scene where Charlotte's [SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER] water broke, the Catholic girls' school across the street had a fire drill. All of a sudden, the school doors opened and these teenage girls come out in long plaid uniform skirts. When they saw Chris Noth, they came running across the street, screaming "I love you!" He said, "Aren't you supposed to be in school?" And they said, "Absofuckinglutely!"'
Hee hee. The only complaint I have about the book is that there are no good pictures of her closet! A pretty minor complaint to make, but still. I loved that closet. I would give up... something... pretty huge to get that closet. With Mr Big and those peacock-blue Manolos waiting inside for me, of course.
Tomorrow Chris & I head down to Bunbury so he can check out some hi-fi stuff and I can get spoiled by my mama. Hooray!
Have a fabulous weekend,
xx
Oh and please check out these sites I have been LOVING over the week for some weekend entertainment!
