ahahhaahhaha dressing up. hmm now that would be a GOOD time, we could have every part of asia represented. the south asians, the asians with the slanted eyes, AND the russians. lets chat about this in dorkestra tomorrow. i will probably be wearing my asian power beads again, every day of may, just like last year. ill have to show them to you. last year, we also played asian songs in orchestra with the dodge (aka caravan) but i dunno about the chances of that happening with brown. :-(

ps. did the asians and indians contribute muchos money to your economics project?!

haha i was thinking we could make shirts or something REALLY flashy, and the regional thing is a fantabulous idea. i definitely want to see those asian power beads/were they the ones with different moods or things that you could like, get from them? the asian songs thing sounds like a great idea, but judging from the fact that mr brown couldnt even handle viola pride day, i doubt he'll be able to cope with a majorly awesome minority celebration like this one. however, i would definitely be into playing our instruments in the hallways before school and during passing time.

and yes, the asians and indians were AWESOME contributors but then all of our money got stolen by someone mean :(

ahahahaha it is surprising that you got so much money from us asians/indians because were all poor and cheap. but of course, we can always find it in the goodness of our hearts to donate to our people.

the asian power beads are more like...a keychain. hahaha. that i wear on one of my belt loops. but its the thought that counts.

shirts would be VERY nice. anjali and i are thinking of kicking asian heritage month off with a bang by going to the lib. sincceee may 1 is a sunday. buttt may 2?! def possibilities for shirt wearing/instrument playing in the hall. i could set up like a hat or use my case to collect donations from the rich white ppl as they pass us.

AND OMGFISFOSIR INDIA WAS ON OPRAH TODAY. and the most beautiful woman in the world. and they had singapore for like..30 seconds, but it still counts!!

ive said more to you in comments than ive ever said to you in person. ahhh the beauty of livejournal.

its good to see you type a really long comment as well, so i dont seem as weird. and it was fabtastical saying hi to you in the hall today! as for the swim team club, we are way ahead of you on that. well, kinda. we have the "MINORITY RELAY" which never really happened ( ... )

MINORITY RELAY?! you dont say! me and anjali would be more than happy to come down to your meets and cheer our asians to sweet victory. do you compete against other continents? is there a european relay? it sounds simply intriguing.

haha i love your banner ideas. on the banners, we could put pictures of the minority relay peeps along with us in our asian pride month shirts.

i definitely dont know enough asians. my sister was SO excited about the party and the awesome food and the even awesomer asians. LOL i actually laughed out loud at your chinatown idea. awesome. i <3 the fake purse idea and there could be piles of rice EVERYWHERE.

no, i dont wear saris because they take time to put on but i wear plenty of other indian garb. do you wear those cool silk chinese outfits that have the collar that stays up?

kickoff '05... bringing asians together like never before.

ps- have you heard of the comedian russel peters? he's indian and hilarious and i think you'd like him.

yes, yes, the minority relay. it consisted of tiff and i, the 2 asians, and then a muslim and a hindu ohhhh baby. and in global this week we are learning ALL about your people. in our minority relay the hindu and the muslim got along. if the rest of india would just follow our example, everything would be dandy! while we were watching Gandhi, i kept trying to pick out one or two of your relatives, but goshdarnit if yall just look alike. and even though our relay never actually took place, we would have gotten first, you can bet on it ( ... )

the movie in global sounds AWESOME and my sister told me that mr moretter always says wrong info about my people and she gets very flustered about it.

i will DEFINITELY be coming home for ALL the asian parties. i'm very disappointed that you never went to chinatown, but do they have knockoff purses and stuff in china? thatd be friggin awesome.

hahahahahahaha i love that you bow to your guests, its fantabulous. however, i dont think you should limit yourself by bowing to your people- why not salespeople and anyone else who might stop by?

russel peters makes jokes about indians, asians... actually pretty much every race. i definitely need to hear jin because i want to memorize the theme song before the big day!

my sister told me that i should add you as a friend... shes sort of my chief livejournal advisor. hahaha

ahahahaha, well, as i know by now, anjali IS well informed on the matters of livejournal and commenting. what are you gonna do when you go to college without your chief advisor around ( ... )

anjali will be visiting me at college, worry not.

YOU did an amazing job at nyssma too. i think that the orchestra as a whole would have greatly suffered without the fantabulous asian solos.

holler at knockoffs. indians arent cool enough to have knockoffs, but they do have child labor so we still get random bags.

child labor=heart.

jk

holler at gold with distinction and orchestra study halls.
