MY CAR IS 10km SHY OF 100,000km. THIS IS CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION.
I am taking my camera with me tomorrow so I can photograph it sitting at this magical number. This may or may not be my last ever lj post, as I may or may not die tomorrow as I dangerously try to photograph my dashboard whilst driving in peak hour traffic.
Today Cam ordered some BME stickers, one of which I will be able to add to the mess of stickers already offending people on the back of my car. After that, all I will need is a new transformers sticker, and my collection will be complete. Until, of course, I fall victim to a new internet fad.
Also, my car is clean. Cam cleaned it. Awesome.
It's so lamely cold. i hate winter. HAAAAATE. GRR GRR.
Saw 28 weeks later on Thursday. I enjoyed 28 days later, so I was hoping that weeks would be decent. Well, it wasn't, it was pretty bad, but still enjoyable. The thing which made me laugh most about the movie was that the whole film was just an exercise in making america look good and Britain look bad. (some vague spoilers ahead, nothing specific)
AMERICA GOOD - America rebuilds britain, for the brits
BRITAIN DUMB - Docile Brits inexplicably return to their decrepit, filthy, disease ridden city
AMERICA GOOD - Good hardworking americans keep the pathetic, scared british safe and keep the fragile society functioning
BRITAIN DUMB - British people do... not much, really. Sleep, eat, complain, etc.
AMERICA GOOD - Americans characters are humorous and charismatic
BRITAIN DUMB - British characters are selfish, annoying and unfathomably stupid
AMERICA GOOD - Americans keep everything running smoothly
BRITAIN DUMB - British people manage to fuck things up by re-itroducing the zombie virus, despite America's best efforts
AMERICA GOOD - In a matter of minutes, America is battling to get the situation under control, in contrast to the first movie where the British did shit all and just ran around like headless chickens screaming in fear
AMERICA GOOD - 10 minute action sequence of snipers gunning down British civilians, never missing a shot,
BRITAIN DUMB - 10 minute action sequence of British civilians being gunned down my Americans
AMERICA GOOD - Selfless Americans die noble deaths trying to save innocent children.
BRITAIN DUMB - Selfish Brits refuse to help the children, instead endangering everybody in their own inept quest for survival
AMERICA GOOD - America firebombs London
BRITAIN DUMB - the zombie virus is spread all over the world anyway, thanks to one brat of a british child.
Some good moments, overall quite infuriating thanks to uncharismatic, unlikable and stupid characters.
What I am most stoked about is transformers. Want to see so bad.
