Boss: There is a question about “ApplicationX” in our support queue. I am going to assign it to you.
Me: OK. But I have no idea what that even is.
Boss: Well its written by the guys down in your office. So I figured you would be the option on the IT Team to be able to help.
Me: That doesnt make sense. My proximity has no influence on my knowledge of this custom product that some other group wrote. Hell, I dated a stripper for a few months years ago. Doesn’t necessarily mean I know how to work the pole.
