Wonderful day....
So I get into the office today.... to start I skipped my morning *$ ritual because I was coming in late anyways. Didn't want to wait in line. If I get there at 7am there isnt a line... if I get there after 830, it is a half hour wait.... so I figured I would just go into the office and grab a crappy cup of coffee there.
But there isnt any... and the coffee machine isnt working. WTF?!?!?
Seems that our building... and the few adjoining us... are fubarred as far as water goes.... AGH! No Coffee?? How will I survive today???
OK... HR Chick stopped at Dunkin Donuts on her way to work to pick us up some coffee... crisis averted....
BTW.... Sicne we have no water int the building, the restrooms are out of commission as well. To rectify that, the building owners had the forethought to have a collection of emergency port-a-potties delivered to our building....
yea... thats just what I wanna do in below freezing weather. Drop the kids off at the pool and have a backsplash of that mysterious blue chemical cover my ass and freeze there.
Why wouldnt I wanna spend the rest of the day looking like I was sodomized by a Smurf.
