las courses

In the fall I need to take 3 biology courses and 1 elective. I think my elective is going to be ENGB70 - introduction to cinema. I've never taken an english course in university, I like film, and I really do like writing.

For my bios I have lots of restrictions (the courses I want aren't offered in the fall, or there are conflicts, or I don't like the prof, etc etc...) so these are my options:

B52 Ecology and Evolution Lab
C63 Conservation Biology
C12 Genetics OR C59 Population Ecology
C19 Animal Developmental Bio OR C58 Global Climate Change

My reservations are as follows:

B52 is a second year course, and I've already done a B level lab course (B12 molecular biology), and I've already done 2 hours thesis projects in Behavioural Ecology...

C63: I was enrolled in this course TWICE and the first time was forced to drop it, the second time chose to drop it because the work load was nutty and the instructor was terrible. There's a different instructor now, but the workload is probably still nutty. There is also a group-work component, and I hate group work.

C12 vs C59 - I really want to take genetics, and probably will. However, population ecology sounds REALLY cool and is closer to my field... none the less, I will probably take Genetics.

C19 vs C58 - Global Climate change sounds like it should be an incredibly cool course, but I've been told that there is a lot of stupid stupid numbers to memorize and I think that's lame. Animal developmental bio doesn't sound extremely exciting, but it's in an area of bio that I've neglected a bit so in the interest of being as widely versed as possible, this would be a good choice. Also, it's only 2 hours a week of lecture with no lab.

If anyone bothered to read all that, opinions and comments are welcome!
