i miss the 8-clap
Today I got my diploma in the mail. It's finally official. Those of you that knew me in high school know how much I wanted to go to UCLA back then. How I completely didn't believe it when I got accepted and was sure that someone at Murphy Hall would one day tell me that it was a mistake and I wasn't supposed to really be there. But it's done, four years later and I made it.
Preet and her old roommates and I went to a Cal football game today. I never realized how much I missed UCLA football games until today. Although the last two years were spent mostly hanging out in the press box, there remains something magical about the Rose Bowl that I will never forget. I even still remember a few of the games we went to our first year with everyone from 7N and sitting in the student section. There's something different about UCLA sporting events that always made college fun.
I guess I've finally come to realize that UCLA was good times. College was fun, being a college kid was even more fun. Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up...
