It took two days but I finally got all the answers to the questions on the 120 acres.
Except any sales activity.
With a little information from mls listings, I did get the last name of the person and then a nice friendly conversation with the building dept got the first name. The internet gave me all the rest I needed so if I don't hear from one of friggin three realtors tonight, I'm calling the seller direct.

Its restricted on 20 acres as "open land" which I think, by aerial maps, is the river front area. Yep, the county says, you can build back from the river at 100'.
"I wouldn't build that close for insurance...not to mention watch my front yard dissapear over the years..."
"(giggle) I don't know - people must like to hear the river or something to build so close but your right, its not a great idea"

I know raw land, more than I thought, enough to not have to hire everyone available to do all this leg work for me then run into some nasty surprises.

Then a job offer popped up. Something both John and I can do. The company wants to hear from us when he gets back and its one we've been following for years (even a name change). It has to do with getting off the grid for water and sewer *but* we got to talking about RV's...and again...I know too much about them as well. Its a direction they have thought of going but need someone to help build a prototype and take commmissions on sales. I informed them I take royalites and not up front hourly or commission. They liked that idea, I like it even more since 6% of the gross for a specified contract is taxed at 13% no matter how much you make doing it.

Life is getting interesting again...I have no idea which way it will go since so many options keep popping up in my face when I'm not really looking.

Story of my life ;)
