Pan's Labyrinth
I just finished watching Pan's Labyrinth, and OMG! SQUEE!
You see what it does to me; completely removes my ability to talk like a normal human being and reduces me to a pathetic fangirl.
So beautifully done though. I feel so inspired, and at the same time a little ticked off. Why isn't Hollywood making films with that level of imagination and brilliance?
The pale was sooooo coooool! Coolest monster since Silent Hill! And the Faun... I am possibly in love with that Faun, which is wrong on several different levels.
It was oh-so-ironic and appropriate that I was working on a Faun Stop-mo model while watching it (one I started yesterday, pre-viewing) but he's more cute and awkward; less intimidating and beautiful.
To finish, if, by some strange occurence, you have not yet seen this film, then do! I can not recommend it enough.
