Weeee!
I was so industrious today!
Not only did I make to work on time, I actually got up and watched part of le Tour.
I did a bit a grocery shopping tonight. I made Angie's turkey wild rice soup.
ANNNNNND! I discovered that I DID in fact back up my PDA in April. Hoooho. Which I found out by searching to see if I had previously had the soup recipe in my old hard drive. Now I can't seem to install the software on my XP hard drive, but maybe I'll be able to boot up the files on my old hard drive. Then I can make readable copies and transfer the files.
I'm so damn happy.
The soup turned out great, btw. Again, I didn't actually EAT my fantastic foodstuffs the first day. The soup will go into the freezer for more climatologically suitable days.
In other words it is ass kicking hot during the day out here. They are expecting 90s all weekend. And today was muggy.
I also got a package from amazon.com today. I ordered the tut exhibit book (from National Geographic, so it's purty) and got that dictionary I tried to order in March. My guess is they reprinted it after John died. I'll have to remember to add them to my library spreadsheet. Wee! Spreadsheets! I love free shipping. And it only took four days to get here. Bwahah.
