For Em
During work last week, we had this cutest little boy. I'd say he was about two. (trust me, child ages are not my strong suit) Anyhow. He only said a few words. He didn't know quite what to make of me. But I'm good with kids. I need friend with kids, because I'm made to be an Auntie. Just call me Tante!Chickie (tante would be german for "aunt").
Anyhow, the little boy was quiet most of the time, didn't fuss at all. Didn't really try to reach out and destroy our racks of beads. Which is the most common result of children in a bead store. Next thing you know the radio station started playing REM's "The End of the World As We Know It." Damned if that cutie didn't start dancing in his grandma's arms. Little arm dances.
I immediately thought of em_meredith. It might be half a week ago, but better late than never. ::waving to Em::
