I just got home from taking Clarke back. He didn't even walk in the front door before telling the staff his mom was in the hospital.
But mom's got some good drugs, they'll be keeping her off food for a while. I'll go see her tomorrow. Dad took her her toothbrush, robe, meds and a couple books tonight. I don't work tomorrow, so if she comes home I can go get her.
Needless to say I'm fairly melancholy right now. I got home and shoveled the walk by my door. I love snow, but jeez, enough already. Driving is nuts. Taking Clarke home was oh so delightful.
But I think I'll go watch PotC3, that sounds good right now. Nothing like cat!lap and a movie for what ails you.
Glad everyone is having a better holiday than I am. Honestly, please enjoy yourselves for me too.
