tOWA >> Return of Lion King Sun
The continuation of tOWA, because the situation calls for it especially after today's class XD;
PLEASE READ FROM RIGHT TO LEFT, TOP TO BOTTOM XD
....SOMEHOW, Leo turned out nicer here than the beast-like Lion King Sun XD;
(And I drew him without any reference! 8D)
Walking Horror @ CK (later Ima gonna see him TwT), dunno why but I find Jack Skellington fits him XD;
(prolly due to their similar roles @ scaring people with insane-level assignments ORZ)
Did this gag with pencils, dried black marker and 0.5 drawing pen :)
And it was a quick draw so,
I take this as my comic-panelling practice (since I'm releasing my doujin by this year),
and while doing this (especially the bottom-most image),
I find my this style of drawing/shading seemed somewhat influenced by Suguro Chayamachi (the dude who drew DMC as a manga).
Not sure if this is a good sign or a bad habit...

But at any rate,
turns out the holiday assignment, Leo/CK forgot about it and no one handed up
BUT Alex did showed his on the computer and
he got crit by Leo saying his artwork is "meaningless" o_____O;
Not that his drawing is horrible or anything but
from what Leo crit,
the pose/stature of the Evil King is too stiff,
no action/no exaggeration,
overall no colour changes, looked flat,
and not enough details to make the character (which reminds me much of Lick King) looked/feel the Evil King he is supposed to be.
AND after hearing that, even with my finished lineart (couldn't start the colouring in time),
I daren't show to Leo owO;;;
Coz from his crit on Alex, I already guessed what he's gonna say on mine.
It's back to the drawing board for me,
And I'll rework my posture/composition when I have the free time
(and colour it in too --- the battle between the Coral Knight and the evil!Lobster King seems too fun to be missed XD;)

At any rate, I'm beat,
and here's to hoping
the Walking Horror be a nice guy to me and IL091-1.
