The Good XDDD
I've done most of my packing - now waiting for the wig cap and white gloves to dry, the white shirt to return from da neighbour who's helping to do a bit of resizing XD; and grabbing the other essentials like my toiletries.
Current items packed: 1 luggage of clothes/kar-chang, 1 box containing top-hat, flowers and CC's miko shoes (because I helped to paint the straps red!), and the cane wrapped with paper (to hide it from view).
I've done most of my repairing job too - my top hat has been replaced (due to damages from unknown sources - the tips got frayed even though it stood hung in my room 24/7 since coming back from the UK =w=;;;) with a new set, the feathers have been straightened and fluffed back to as good as it could, and I've glued down the roses and extra feathers using leftover Russian supa-glue XD;;;
My cane is left as it is because the old man said it'll not look nice anymore if I sprayed it over with silver-matt-finish spray paint / cover with silverleaf. So until I find a better alternative (gotta see how the bicycle chrome spray effect!), I'll leave it be. Though the silver-gold look is sort of okay, actually.
The Bad =w=;;;
BUT trying to fix my Gothic cross pendant ended up a botched job when the tissue paper got stuck on it, and after trying to get that out with nail polish remover, the jewels got tarnished. I'm not touching it for now until Tank/Witch sees the damage and think up a better solution~
...and this morning, I checked the shoes I'm gonna wear for CF, and discovered its sole was worn away until the wooden part was exposed ^^; A trip to the cobbler is needed...
Also, my A:Drive died =w=;;; *hopes Director doesn't kill Jockey* After 3 diskettes, it wouldn't read/write anything else, even though the desktop still detected it (ID/DAM not found, whatever that is). Gonna use alternative way to burn it...
And the PRETTY! XD;
Have confirmed the sets to wear for Day 1 - gonna go as Lite version! XD
Wonderful cravat won my heart and sight XD; And let's not forget the roses too!
Will save the Summer version for next year, when I release my completed [Fairytale] doujin *^______^*
(along with the Night-Magick version! Heheh it was fun trying that for the test-dress session XD;)
All that's left is to handle the wig, and get anyone to help me apply simple smoked-eyes on my person (because I like, totally fail in that department XD;;;), and I'm ready to rock CF this year! ^_______^
