ALRIGHT!!!!! >wwwwwwww<
I've officially finished 8 outta 8 of my holiday homework *^__________^*
And this is the last 2 colour-versions that I've done.
I did this one on Monday.
I had slight trouble trying to get the same skin tone as the ref (I used French Grey 70% and some orange, but the colour still doesn't seem close enough)
And being on A3, I merely used strokes for the clothes XD;; On which, the shadows/creases came out nicely.
Epic phail at the background though XD;;; I'm lazy to draw out the shed interior, so all I wanna do was a plain gradient background but...well, this was the result XD; (it looked like a giant hair monster!~)
And I did this on Wednesday night 8D
I layered the colours quite thick XD; I dunno, but I just can't stand to see blue lines in between the white lines of the face, even though the strokes should be visible. Hence I laid on thicker strokes instead.
And I still have the same problem of trying to end the drawing @ the bottom part. Yea I know we're supposed to imagine the part below, but I didn't want to draw all the flesh out, and I wanna at least retain a little compositional art-feel to it. Usually for pencil-renders, I did the cross-hatch but doing it with pastel colour pencils just turned out weird. Any solutions to this?
All in all, it was a fun experience picking up a new medium to learn :DDDD
And NOW it's time to fully concentrate on ma CF cosplay!~~~
Because CF is only 2 days away!!!
